FSA
A Health Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is part of your benefits package. This plan lets you use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses for you, your spouse, and your eligible dependents. Please be aware that you cannot have a Health FSA and a Limited Purpose FSA at the same time. Additionally, you cannot have a Health FSA and a Health Savings Account (HSA) at the same time.
A Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA) is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for eligible dependent care services, such as preschool, summer day camp, before or after-school programs, and child or adult daycare. It’s a smart, simple way to save money while taking care of your loved ones so that you can continue to work.
A Limited Purpose FSA allows you to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible dental and vision expenses only. Because the funds in a Limited Purpose FSA are limited to dental and vision expenses only, please be sure to consider whether this type of FSA would be beneficial with the medical plan you elect.
